Luis Betancourt, MD

Chief Medical Officer (CMO)

Dr. Betancourt graduated from Duke University Medical Center as a child and adolescent psychiatrist in 2014.

 

He is deeply devoted to provide high-quality and compassionate care. He has a particular interest in the interface between religion-spirituality and psychiatry.

He is fluent in English and Spanish.

Haley Pittman, PA-C

Haley Pittman received her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Rhode Island, while working with children with developmental disabilities for 2 years. She then continued to receive her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies at Boston University.

Haley has a lifelong passion for mental health care, and she is honored to be able to make a difference in the lives of her patients. She celebrates diversity, embracing those of all cultures, including those of the LGBTQ+ community.

Haley treats a broad range of psychiatric illnesses with warmth and empathy for pediatric, adolescent, and adult patients. In her free time, she enjoys volunteering for underserved populations and discovering more of beautiful Florida.

Hadassah Rooney, PMHNP-BC

Hadassah Rooney, PMHNP-BC practices as a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with a special interest in serving racial/ethnic minority children and adults. Her desire to address inequality in mental health drives her commitment to providing unbiased individualized care, which prioritizes the client’s needs. Hadassah received a Master of Science in Nursing degree from Frontier Nursing University in Versailles, KY, and her undergraduate degree from the University of North Florida in Jacksonville, FL.

She currently serves as a Board member for the Florida Chapter of the American Psychiatric Nurses Association. With over 10 years of experience providing evidence-based care to populations across the lifespan, and specialized training concentrated on families in crisis, her skill set is tailored to treat mental health conditions including anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, PTSD and substance use disorder.

Love Bamisile, PMHNP-BC

Love Bamisile, PMHNP-BC is an American Nursing Credentialing Center (ANCC) certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner.  Love completed her undergraduate degree in nursing from Jersey College in Teterboro, New Jersey, and her master's degree in psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner from St. Thomas University in Miami Gardens, Florida. Children and Adults from racial and ethnic minorities are of special interest to Love.  Love has a strong desire to combat the cultural stigma associated with receiving mental health treatment and the general dearth of knowledge about mental health. She loves volunteering in her community, particularly in programs for veterans suffering from mental illnesses such as PTSD, depression, and anxiety.

Leonardo Da Silva, PMHNP-BC

Leonardo is a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP), offering a wealth of clinical expertise and a robust academic background. Fluent in English, Spanish, and Portuguese, Leonardo possesses the unique ability to connect deeply with patients from diverse cultural backgrounds. With a foundation laid during his Bachelor's in Nursing from Southern Adventist University, Leonardo developed a profound understanding of patient care and empathy. This motivated him to pursue further education, leading to the successful completion of his Doctor of Nursing Practice degree from the esteemed University of Florida. This academic pursuit has honed his advanced clinical skills and fostered a profound grasp of evidence-based practices in psychiatric care.

 

Leonardo's journey, both academically and professionally, underscores his commitment to lifelong learning and cultural sensitivity. His multilingual capabilities empower him to transcend language barriers and cultivate meaningful therapeutic alliances. As a PMHNP, Leonardo eagerly anticipates utilizing his education, experience, and linguistic proficiencies to provide comprehensive psychiatric care to the community. He is enthusiastic about contributing to the team's mission and upholding the highest standards of patient care.
